Terms of Service
Last updated: November 1, 2025
Acceptance
By accessing or using Visunt, you agree to these Terms of Service. This document is a general description of the terms intended to govern use of Visunt and has not yet undergone formal legal review. It should not be relied upon as final or binding.
Eligibility
You must be authorized to act on behalf of the organization for which you are creating an account, and you must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Financial Data
You represent that you have the right to provide any financial data you submit to Visunt, and that connecting a financial system does not violate any agreement you have with a third party.
Connected Accounts
When you connect a bank, payment processor, accounting platform, or other financial system, you authorize Visunt to access the data necessary to provide reconciliation and tracing services. You may revoke this access at any time.
AI Services
Visunt uses AI to identify relationships between financial records and to generate explanations for discrepancies. AI-generated conclusions are probabilistic in nature and are presented with supporting evidence for your review. Visunt does not guarantee that every discrepancy can be automatically resolved.
Automated Processing
Some features of Visunt rely on automated processing of financial data. Where confidence in a conclusion is low, Visunt is designed to flag the item for human review rather than resolve it automatically.
API Usage
If you are granted access to the Visunt API, you agree to use it only within the scope of any applicable rate limits, credentials, and documentation provided to you.
Third-Party Integrations
Visunt integrates with third-party financial systems. We are not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or practices of third-party systems you choose to connect.
Acceptable Use
- Do not use Visunt for any unlawful purpose.
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to Visunt or connected systems.
- Do not interfere with the integrity or performance of the service.
- Do not misrepresent your authority to connect a financial account.
Intellectual Property
Visunt and its underlying technology are the property of Visunt and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in Visunt.
Confidentiality
Each party agrees to protect the other party’s confidential information with the same degree of care it uses to protect its own confidential information, and not less than a reasonable degree of care.
Security
We apply security practices designed to protect your data, as described on our Security page. We do not claim any specific compliance certification unless it has been independently verified.
Availability
We aim to keep Visunt available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Disclaimers
Visunt is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Visunt helps reconstruct financial context from connected records, but the accuracy of that reconstruction depends on the accuracy and completeness of the underlying source data.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Visunt will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Visunt against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.
Termination
Either party may terminate access to Visunt as described in the applicable order form or agreement. We may suspend access immediately in cases of suspected misuse or security risk.
Governing Law
[Governing law and jurisdiction to be determined — pending legal review.]
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
